The Main Attraction & Distraction by Teri Johnson
Yesterday, I watched too much news and it was too much for me to handle! I was overwhelmed & consumed with all that I saw broadcasting. I finally went to bed and laid my head down upon the pillow of God’s Heart. I told God, this is too much! And I heard Him clearly say: "What are you focusing on? Magnify Me!"
Wow! I have had years of training, and know the kingdom principle well; that whatever I focus on grows, but I realized that I had allowed the enemy to use the news media’s broadcast to cause me to be caught up, in these tumultuous times. And when I heard the Lord’s voice with such loving clarity last night I quickly repented. Jesus must be my main attraction and distraction. It’s Him that I want to be overwhelmed by, and it’s His Glory that I want to be loaded down with.
God is the Solution
I remembered that for every problem, He is and has the answer. So whatever the havoc or problem, there is a Face of God for me to behold and adore. For example when there seems to be no peace, as I adore the Face of God as my Prince of Peace, He always responds to me by flooding me with His Peace.
The “Law of Attraction” is a Kingdom Tool.
God is always attracted by your worship & adoration of Him. And this causes Him to manifest His Presence. And in His Presence, evil has to flee. That is very Good News! So, this morning I wrote this Simple Declarative Proclamation to Adore Him, you can say it alone or with others, example: just substitute the “I” for “We”.
Declarative Proclamation to Adore God
I adore You, the One and only True God! And I choose to magnify You, for You are worthy to be praised!
I declare, decree & proclaim, from where I’m seated with You in the Heavenly Places:
I adore You, my Creator God.
Everything was made and came into existence through You, and without You not even one thing was made.
I adore You, the King of kings, Lord of lords, and Ruler of ALL.
You are large and in charge of all. I trust You, and with great confidence, I lean on You and rely on You with all my heart!
I adore You, the God of Mercy & Compassion
I bow down and behold Your Glory & Brilliance. I worship & praise you for You are good, and Your mercy and loving kindness endure forever. You are full of grace & truth, and Your mercy triumphs over judgment!
I adore You, my God of Abundance and Provision
You supply all my needs according to Your Riches and Glory. You are a sun and a shield for me. As I love and walk with You, there is no good thing that you will withhold from me. You are more than enough for me.
I adore You, my Prince of Peace
In the midst of tribulation, you cheer me up with the Peace I find in You, Who has overcome the world. Your Peace surpasses my understanding and Jesus you guard my heart and mind.
