Shed some Tears, Heal the Nations by Teri Johnson
One day I noticed my husband Gary shooting some photography outside in the sunshine of our courtyard. He had a fish tank, a tube of glycerin, a mirror, and some little American flags. Gary asked me “Teri did you look at the photos that I took today? I sent them to you.”
So, I opened his e-mail and the title on the subject line was “Patriotic Bubbles”. When I read this, God gave me “eyes to see” the prophetic beauty that my husband Gary had captured in the lens of his camera. God spoke to my heart as I reflected on the reflection of the American flags within the glycerin. God let me know that He has not forgotten the United States of America.
It's interesting the flags were within bubbles of glycerin and Gary had called the photos: “Patriotic Bubbles”.
The glass fish tank Gary used is a prophetic symbol of God's Transparent Heart for a Harvest of souls. Fish tanks hold the fish caught. (Jesus makes us “fishers of men” Matthew 4:19)
The French word Glycerin is derived from the Greek word Glykeros; which means; sweet. Technically glycerin is a thick clear liquid used in making medicine, food, and soap.
2 Chronicles 7:14
It is within “tough-times” where the “true-colors” are shown.
America’s true colors are in her Flag.
The "Patriotic Bubbles” prophetically represent tears.
One of the glycerin bubble/tears is in the shape of a heart. As I looked into that heart-shaped-tear with the American flag inside of glycerin; Holy Spirit spoke to my heart about tears and weeping, especially weeping for nations.
Here are four things that Holy Spirit told me about crying
2. God is moved by our tears
3. God honors and values our tears
4. Tears heal your heart
Holy Spirit told me that warm salty tears melt the ice off my heart.
Joel 2:12-13 Specific Marching Orders for America
Therefore also says the Lord turn even to me with all your heart and with fasting and with weeping and with morning and rend your heart and not your garments and turn unto the Lord your God for He is gracious and merciful slow to anger and of all great kindness and repent to him for the evil.
Psalm 126:4-6 Proclamation over America
Lord make us prosperous again, just as the rain brings water back to the dry riverbeds, let those who wept as they planted their crops gather the harvest with joy. Those who wept as they went out carrying the seed will come back singing for joy as they bring in the harvest.
My Closing Prayer
Oh Lord, please bless us with tears to weep for what’s on your heart.
Please melt any ice around our heart’s, so our hearts can enlarge and expand to beat strong and in sync with Yours.
