Eaglerock Ministries / Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE:
* The Bible in its original autographs is the infallible Word of God.
* The Trinity of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit are Three Persons in One.
* Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent from heaven to redeem humankind.
* Jesus Christ was sinless, born of a virgin & was crucified
& shed His Blood for the sin of the world.
* His atonement includes healing of the spirit, soul & body.
* He rose from the grave & is seated at the right hand of the Father
in heaven & is always interceding for His Saints.
* Salvation requires nothing more than a belief in
the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross on one’s behalf.
It is a free gift of grace through faith alone.
* God’s kindness brings the believer to repentance from
sins & faith toward God.
* Christians are called & empowered to live holy lives through
the power of Holy Spirit in the process called sanctification.
* Jesus Christ is the Head of the church which His Body made of many members. These members are to be equipped to do the work of the ministry through the 5-fold ministry gifts of
Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, and Pastor & Teacher.
* There is equality & essential dignity of men & women of all
races, ages, & classes, because all persons were made
in the image of God.
* Christ sent the Holy Spirit to empower His church to
fulfill the great commission.
* The Gospel of the Kingdom is preached & demonstrated by
signs, wonders, & the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
* Holy Spirit comes to live inside every believer at the moment of salvation. The baptism in Holy Spirit with its attendant giftings is the overflowing of Holy Spirit into the world through any willing believer.
* The supernatural gifts such as
miracles. physical healings, prophecy, & tongues, are available today because they are the work of Holy Spirit.
These gifts were not withdrawn from the church when
the Bible was completed or at the death of the Apostles.
* Physical, mental, & spiritual anguish in the world
does not come from God, but from satan. Sin gives satan legal right to cause this anguish. We gain understanding of this legal right through revelation from the Word of God & from Holy Spirit. Furthermore, as Christians, we cancel this legal right through our authority in Jesus Christ.
* Jesus Christ, The Judge, is returning. Both Heaven & Hell are conscious eternal experiences.
