Calendar Guide for Navigating the Times by Teri Johnson
This morning in my special time with Holy Spirit, He showed me: A Calendar Guide for Navigating the Times from January 2nd-20th 2021 It’s all laid out for us in James 1: 2-20 (TPT). It’s a great guideline for these specific days, but for also every day for everyday practical life. Jan. 2nd Jesus is our greatest Joy & just like in the fiery furnace when the heat was turned up times 7, Jesus is with us, right smack in the middle of it! My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing, but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! James 1:2 Jan. 3rd In this season as turmoil is spinning around us from all sides, God is stirring up our Faith from inside of us. For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things. James 1:3 Jan. 4th The process of going through this dark tunnel makes us stronger as we are hidden inside the Prince of Peace, Who makes us whole. And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. James 1:4 Jan.5th When we cannot find rhyme or reason for what is the world is going on? God has wisdom for us. His wisdom moves us forward in Him, where we live and move and have our being. We only have to ask Him. And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures, but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace. James 1:5 Jan. 6th Our faith must not waver, God and He alone is our confidence. We must trust Him, no matter what, Jesus is our Hope Anchor, in the sea of Life. Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. James 1:6 Jan. 7th We need to be ALL IN! When you are half-hearted and wavering, it leaves you unstable. James 1:7 Jan. 8th Half-heartedness always is and never will be a good choice. As we follow Jesus with our entire heart, our reward is greater than we can imagine! Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition? James 1:8 Jan. 9th Our Father is wealthy, and our inheritance is rich in Him. The believer who is poor still has reasons to boast, for he has been placed on high. James 1:9 Jan. 10th We can never exaggerate the GOODNESS of God. But those who are rich should boast in how God has brought them low and humbled them, for all their earthly glory will one day fade away like a wildflower in the meadow. James 1:10 Jan. 11th We are supernatural beings having a temporary human experience, in our earth suits! For as the scorching heat of the sun causes the petals of the wildflower to fall off and lose its appearance of beauty, so the rich in the midst of their pursuit of wealth will wither away. James 1:11 Jan. 12th Our faith and belief in our Victorious God, releases blessings. As children of the King, we need to keep our crowns on and rule and reign with Him! If your faith remains strong, even while surrounded by life’s difficulties, you will continue to experience the untold blessings of God! True happiness comes as you pass the test with faith and receive the victorious crown of life promised to every lover of God! James 1:12 Jan. 13th Never blame God. Period. When you are tempted don’t ever say, “God is tempting me,” for God is incapable of being tempted by evil and he is never the source of temptation. James 1:13 Jan. 14th Align your thoughts and desires to His. Instead, it is each person’s own desires and thoughts that drag them into evil and lure them away into darkness. James 1:14 Jan. 15th Ask the God of Abundant Life to keep your heart pure. Evil desires give birth to evil actions. And when sin is fully mature it can murder you! James 1:15 Jan. 16th Ask God to give you discernment of the true hearts of others, starting with your own. So, my friends, don’t be fooled by your own desires! James 1:16 Jan. 17th He is Faithful. We can trust Him always and in all ways. Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of Lights, Who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change. James 1:17 Jan. 18th You are God’s Favorite, and He has destined you for greatness! God was delighted to give us birth by the truth of his infallible Word so that we would fulfill his chosen destiny for us and become the favorite ones out of all his creation! James 1:18 Jan. 19th My mom used to tell me that; God gave me 2 ears and one mouth, to listen more and talk less. When craziness is flying all around, we must not partner with the wrong spirit and “fly off the handle” causing even more damage. My dearest brothers and sisters, take this to heart: Be quick to listen, but slow to speak. And be slow to become angry, James 1:19 Jan. 20th The most effective tool God has put in our tool belt, is LOVE! . . . for human anger is never a legitimate tool to promote God’s righteous purpose.
